Role:
Video Engineer based in the UK under the direction of the Installations Manager tasked with the installation of Telepresence solutions worldwide.
General:
Installation of AV solutions into customer sites.
Site Surveys
Production of cable schedules
Liaise with UK and US staff to ensure the fulfillment of solution
Progress reporting on installations at agreed milestones
Liaise with customers and construction staff
Produce reports based on test plans to the Design and Implementations Manager.
Liaise with the US for delivery and acceptance of goods on site and in the UK office.
Communicate effectively with customers and senior management.
Required to complete Audio Visual certification.
Understand and install to drawings and schematics.
Capable of self supervision
Global travel is a requirement.
Requirements:
PC literate
2 years AV installation background
Driving License
Current UK Passport

Roles and Responsibilities.
• Based in London
• Reports to PMO
• Heads up and controls the timely management and execution of all projects under their charge.
• Serves as the primary interface between the customer and the internal organization for product delivery projects
• Successfully deliver projects on-time and under budget.
• Record status reports to PMO on a weekly basis of projects under their control.
• Work as an agent of change delivering processes via PMO developed automation & tools; helping the organization reach new levels of efficiency and scalability
• Record and escalate critical path issues to avoid missing deadlines and avoiding additional cost
• Serve as a mediator and the person who forces resolution to black hole issues or subjective matters by forcing communication or escalating before the project is compromised
• Create and maintains essential documentation to support the project throughout its implementation.
• Provide the relevant site information for all groups in order to facilitate their working practices.
• Manages the individual processes to correspond to the agreed time for implementation.
• Manage the network implementation with telepresence technology and approved 3rd party suppliers.
• Coordinate and attend kick off meetings with customer design teams.
• Liaise with customer design and IT teams to facilitate speedy execution of the project.
• Reviews weekly engineering reports pertinent to the project and summarises for weekly meetings.
• Guide customer through the project phase delivering a satisfied customer to the Production Support staff
• Regularly interface with internal teams coordination client deliverables while also remaining in sync with updated TelePresence standards
• Reviews site and Video NOC test plans to ensure the room is satisfactory for handovers detailing to senior managers the current state and expected goals.
• Review or issue customer Acceptance Test Plans.
• Responsible for ensuring that the all Acceptance Test Plan have been carried prior to customer handovers seeking approval from the PMO to proceed with customer handover.
• Provide feedback to senior management on projects post completion.
• National and International travel is required

Preparing contracts for new starters

Assist in the investigation & administration of various subject areas such as:

-Absence Management
-Leavers following absence from work
